รายวิชานี้ออกแบบเพื่อช่วยให้ผู้เรียนชาวต่างชาติสามารถเรียนรู้ภาษาไทยและเข้าใจวัฒนธรรมไทยได้อย่างเป็นระบบและใช้งานได้จริงในชีวิตประจำวัน เนื้อหาครอบคลุมตั้งแต่การทำความเข้าใจวิถีชีวิตและวัฒนธรรมไทย ลักษณะพื้นฐานของภาษาไทย การออกเสียงพยัญชนะ สระ และวรรณยุกต์ ตลอดจนคำศัพท์และสำนวนที่ใช้ในสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ เช่น การทักทาย การบอกเวลา การถามราคา การเดินทาง และการสื่อสารในชีวิตประจำวัน นอกจากนี้ ผู้เรียนยังจะได้เรียนรู้การอ่านและเขียนภาษาไทยเบื้องต้น รวมถึงระบบเสียงและโครงสร้างคำที่สำคัญของภาษาไทย

Course Overview:

This course is designed to help international learners develop basic Thai language skills while gaining an understanding of Thai culture and daily life. The course covers essential topics including Thai cultural concepts, basic characteristics of the Thai language, pronunciation of consonants, vowels, and tones, as well as useful vocabulary and expressions for everyday communication such as greetings, telling time, asking prices, giving directions, and talking about daily activities. Learners will also be introduced to the basics of reading and writing Thai, including the Thai script, tone marks, and common sound patterns.

Understand key aspects of Thai culture and everyday life
Pronounce Thai consonants, vowels, and tones more accurately
Use basic Thai vocabulary and expressions in common daily situations
